TOMF Announces New Microgrant Program

August 6, 2012

The Tucson Osteopathic Medical Foundation is re-launching the Trustee Awards, a microgrant program that will give $1,000 each month to a different non-profit organization working to improve community health. The first award will be given in January; however applicants can submit proposals now at www.tomf.org.

"Our goal is to help unique projects that require little funding, yet produce anything-but-little results," said Deborah Jane Power, DO, a rheumatologist at Catalina Pointe Arthritis and the Chair of the Foundation's Grants and Scholarships Committee.

The previous version of the Foundation's Trustee Awards was less frequent but funded many organizations including the Community Food Bank, Tucson Children's Museum, and Arizona Theatre Company.
